Remember Me “Behind the Music” Trailer: Neo-Symphonies For the Win

Not to be confused with a certain Robert Pattinson movie (or did we make that joke already?).

Revealed last year amongst a fair bit of curiosity, Dontnod Entertainment’s Remember Me combines third person action gameplay as seen in Assassin’s Creed with a memory theft motive in which protagonist Nilin must effectively steal her own memories back with high-tech awesomeness and customizable kung-fu. It is as intriguing as it sounds.

The setting of Neo Paris 2084 helped provide a different flavour to the game and its surroundings – and with the new Behind the Music trailer, composers Olivier Deriviere and John Kurlander expose the other European elements involved. Like the soundtrack, which is electronically manipulated from a score by the London Philharmonia Orchestra to provide a softer tone to the events.

We also get to see some new gameplay footage, as Nilin continues her hunt for the ones who killed her parents – er, stole her memories.

Remember Me will be out this May for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, and is published by Capcom.
