Pokemon Presents

For several years running, The Pokemon Company has premiered Pokemon Presents presentations in the month of February to commemorate Pokemon Day (held on February 27 every year), and it seems like that tradition isn’t going to be bucked this year either.

Spotted by @mattyoukhana_ on Twitter, digging into mobile title Pokemon GO’s files has unearthed evidence of an upcoming Pokemon Presents celebrations, with references of “Pokémon Presents 2025 x GO Tour: Unova Timed Research” spotted in the strings. That’s likely pointing to an upcoming event in Pokemon GO that will be detailed as part of the presentation.

Given the fact that the last several years have brought a February Pokemon Presents, 2025 following that same trend doesn’t come as a huge surprise. As for what the presentation will bring, that’s anyone’s guess. Presumably, Pokemon Legends: Z-Awhich is due out sometime this year, will be the main focus, while The Pokemon Company could also unveil new content for the wildly successful Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket.
