This news should be a shock to no one since the PC port of Dark Souls was horribly broken with poor graphical settings and performance locked at 30 fps when it launched. However, modders managed to fix it and made it a true PC game.

“A lot of it was not very well done, sort of half-assed,” Dark Souls 2 director Yui Tanimura told Shacknews.

“Yes, we will definitely put more priority on the PC. Last time, we started working on PC after the console version was complete,” Tanimura explained. “This time, because we are considering the PC from the beginning, you can be sure there will be more care put into PC development.”

Dark Souls 2 will be much better on the PC and will be released in 2014 for the current gen platforms.
