Bungie’s Destiny 2 received a wealth of new information today, which included lots of video material on the new sub-classes, environments and much more. More importantly, we got a look at the very first campaign mission titled “Homecoming”. It sees the Guardians attempting to repel the attacks from the Cabal Red Legion. The mission itself sees the typical “defend for three waves of enemies” but throws in elements like Zavala fighting alongside players. This transitions to finding the Speaker with Ikora Rey, who takes the fight to an enemy ship. From there, players will infiltrate a Red Legion ship. The gameplay ends with Gaul, the Red Legion’s leader, threatening the player.
Destiny 2 will be out on September 8th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It will also have an open beta this Summer and will be heading to Battle.net exclusively on PC. Thoughts? Let us know below.
