Destiny 2’s Faction Rally Won By New Monarchy

Those who pledged allegiance to New Monarchy get a sword for 1K Glimmer. Neat.

Destiny 2_Honor's Edge

Along with the usual reset for rituals and Milestones in Destiny 2, today marks the end of the second ever Faction Rally in Bungie’s shared world shooter. Maybe it was because of the involvement of PC players or because the other factions’ weapons were awful but New Monarchy won this time around.

That means those who pledged allegiance to New Monarchy will receive the Legendary sword called Honor’s Edge for 1,000 Glimmer (everyone else has to pay 50,000 Glimmer). The key trait of the blade is En Garde which will boost damage after you switch to it. That being said, it’s no Quickfang which also carries the trait but with other bonuses. Quickfang is also doled out by Cayde-6 so you don’t even need to take part in the Faction Rally.

The Faction Rally has been a bit of bust for Bungie thus far seeing as how activities like Lost Sectors and Heroic Public Events are way more practical to complete for Tokens as opposed to Strikes or Crucible matches. What did you think of it this time around? Let us know in the comments.
