Bungie has made Deepsight Weapon focusing easier for Destiny 2 players, with the option to focus daily while Season of the Seraph is available. Treasure those Resonant Elements because they’re going away after Lightfall releases.

In the latest “This Week at Bungie,” the developer revealed that weapon crafting would be integrated into the “broader core economy” in Year 6. “Standard currencies such as Glimmer, Enhancement Cores, etc. will replace the Element costs that exist today.” The Deepsight attunement objective is also being removed.

Resonant and Harmonic Alloys will still be usable when the expansion releases, so there’s no reason to worry. They’re both being overhauled at some point in Year 6, so use them now while you can. It could be a month later or even further down the line. Ascendant Alloys will be unchanged for the time being.

Destiny 2: Lightfall is out on February 28th and will be playable on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC. It’s a good time to complete any remaining activities in Year 5 since many seasonal activities will be vaulted. Head here for the full list of content that’s going away.
