Destiny 2’s latest expansion, Lightfall, was released last week and has faced significant backlash. Besides the story, one of the biggest complaints has been about time-gating Strand Fragments (similar to Stasis in Beyond Light). Some Fragments were even unobtainable until after the completion of the Root of Nightmares raid, which goes live on March 10th.

Bungie has heard the complaints and released a live update that unlocked all Strand Fragments for players. Of course, this doesn’t mean you get them all for free. You’ll still need a new currency, Strand Meditations, to purchase them. So choose carefully before buying something you won’t use.

In the meantime, Bungie is monitoring Strand’s performance as more players gain access to it. It wants to ensure balance among all the other sub-classes to ensure a “solid raid experience” later this week. Stay tuned for more details and potential updates in the coming weeks.

Destiny 2: Lightfall is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Season of Defiance is also live with a new Season Pass, cosmetics, and more. Head here for more details.
